Remediation of areas in and around wellhead pits

Scope: The remediation of wellhead pits damaged by oil contamination, which were created to contain oil leaks and seawater used to extinguish well fires. The total number of damaged wellhead pits is 163, including 65 pits in northern Kuwait, 19 of which may impact freshwater reservoirs in the Umm Al-Aish and Raudhatain areas, and 98 pits in southern Kuwait.
