STAKEHOLDER OVERVIEW

Actual execution of the projects is the responsibility of different entities of the Government of the State of Kuwait “Stakeholders”,(identified in table 1 below) that have the necessary expertise and/or in whose physical locations the projects are being executed. The Stakeholders are involved in execution of the projects of the program, and long-term monitoring in accordance with the approved project plans by the UNCC Governing Council and abiding with the applicable laws and regulations of the State of Kuwait. The Stakeholders employ field contractors to execute the projects. KNFP coordinates the efforts of the various Stakeholders, overseeing the progress of the program, and reporting to the UNCC and to the Government of Kuwait on the appropriate use of the funds in the implementation of the program.
