Remediation of Damaged Ground Water Resources

Scope: This project includes activities such as exploration, analysis, drilling of wells, and monitoring of groundwater affected by oil pollution and seawater used to extinguish oil well fires. This concerns the only two freshwater aquifers in Kuwait, located in the Raudhatain and Umm Al-Aish areas. The project also involves using a mathematical model for storing and updating information related to this issue, in addition to conducting studies and experiments on methods for treating the affected groundwater, which amounts to approximately 15 million cubic meters.
